[edit] General

The Zaishen Combat Signpost offers daily Zaishen Challenge Quests in which you are tasked with participating in various PvP activities. As a reward you receive a combination of gold, faction points (Balthazar, Kurzick, or Luxon), and Zaishen Coins.

Like the other Zaishen Challenge Quests, you can only have 3 Zaishen Combat quests active in your Quest Log at any time. Unlike the others, however, you can repeat Zaishen Combat quests as often as you like while they are available. (As with all repeatable quests, after accepting the reward, you must re-zone before the signpost will offer the quest again.)

[edit] Dialogue

"This is the signpost where Zaishen Mission quests are posted."

When your Quest Log currently has three Zaishen Combat Quests:

"Zaishen battle assignments are limited to 3 at one time."

[edit] Rewards

There are 3 tiers of rewards. Fort Aspenwood, The Jade Quarry, and Alliance Battles give both Kurzick and Luxon faction as rewards; all others give Balthazar faction.

[edit] Notes

  • This is the only type of Zaishen Challenge Quest available to PvP Characters.
  • The quests rotate on a cycle with each quest repeated multiple times. The cycle was reset when Hero Battles and Team Arena were removed and replaced by the Codex Arena in the Oct. 22nd, 2009, game update, and the full rotation has not yet been seen.
Historical note: This NPC was added as part of the initial 4th Year Anniversary Update.
