The Yule Cap is a special event headpiece that was distributed on the final day of the Wintersday 2005 event at the end of visits by the Avatar of Dwayna (NPC), who appeared every 3 hours in Lion's Arch along with the Avatar of Grenth (NPC). It would appear in the inventory of players at the beginning of the fireworks if Dwayna won the contest with Grenth by gathering more followers around her Avatar (everyone in the district, including Grenth supporters, would receive one).

- Item can be infused.
- Item can be upgraded with runes.
- Item can not be dyed.
- Item can not be upgraded with armor insignias.
- Item can not be salvaged.
Like all armor, this item is customized, and while it may be traded, it can only be worn by the character that originally received it. However, this hat may copied for any PvE character on a given account using the Festival hat maker.
