You can buy or sell Wood Planks at the following NPCs:

• Trade: Material Traders (at a variable price, in quantities of 10)
• Sell only: Merchants (at a fixed price of 4 gold)

• Many foes of the plant species drop wood planks directly.

[edit] Weapons Most bows and staves salvage into wood planks. However, a few of them salvage into Piles of Glittering Dust instead. Some axes salvage into wood planks instead of Iron Ingots.

• If you are planning to sell wood, you can sometimes make more money by crafting it into Rolls of Parchment at an artisan, then selling the parchment to a Rare Material Trader or another player. Since the trader's prices fluctuate, you should check the current price for parchment before doing so.
