Started on July 18th 2008 at Pacific Noon until July 20th 2008 at Midnight, this greatly trimmed-down shadow of Wintersday allowed players to access the Dwayna Vs Grenth snowball fight arena. The Wintersday Gift Giver in the arena outpost would give Wintersday Gifts in exchange for 5 Candy Cane Shards, which you received for winning in the arena.

Additionally, various Wintersday consumables dropped from monsters this weekend.

• The event is loosely based on the marketing campaign: Christmas in July
• Seasons are reversed in the northern and southern hemisphere. In the southern hemisphere, the season would be winter in July.
