Wayward Wands are variable attribute wands that only drop in the Elite Missions. Their unique item equivalent, also called Wayward Wands, can be procured as a reward when turning in an Amulet of the Mists, which can be acquired once by each character after defeating Shiro. This is a Factions Campaign item.

• The design of this weapon was inspired by one of the winning entries in ArenaNet's first Design-a-Weapon Contest which ran from the end of 2005 until the start of 2006.
