Warrior Charr Hide armor is a Prophecies Campaign armor art. It is made out of Charr hide and bones. The helm appears to be the head of a Charr mesmer.
The elite version of this armor is Warrior Elite Charr Hide armor.
Instead of crafting the Fur Squares at an Artisan or buying them from a Rare Material Trader, they can be obtained from Calissa Sedgwick by trading in Charr Hides, which can be farmed easily by killing low-level Charr in Ascalon.
| Historical note: Prior to the May 24th, 2007, game update, this armor was known as Ascalon armor. Max Charr Hide armor crafted prior to that update had its bonus replaced with Knight's Insignia, non-max Charr Hide armor had its bonus removed. Prior to the Oct. 25th, 2006, game update, when the dye system was overhauled, newly crafted Charr Hide armor was dyed orange by default. Using a Dye Remover would reveal the armor's true default color. |
