Vial of Absinthe (formerly just Absinthe) is a form of alcohol available only during the Halloween special events. It is traded by several Halloween collectors in several cities in Elona and Tyria. In addition, Absinthe is handed out as a random prize for players who obey Mad King Thorn during the Halloween finale event.
It causes a green flame to flare at your feet for a second, then gives a blurry "drunken" effect that compounds with multiple uses within a short period. The screen will also turn more green the more drunk you are. Other than the flame it is comparable to Hunter's Ale or Dwarven Ale.
Halloween collector items, purchased or received from the Mad King, will remain in each character's inventory until they are used or destroyed.
It can't be used on competitive areas such Heroes Ascent or their associated waiting areas.
