Sorry for all and stuff. I still don't understand why we couldn't restart with 40 DP in the beginning of the mission, but I shouldn't have acted like that. However, the reason why I uninstalled the game wasn't this event alone. It was the line that I saw Ag write you in chat, something about how she hates it when I'm mad when we play together. I realised what an asshole the game makes me, especially when combined with my 11 hour work days. To save everyone who play with me, and especially Ag, from my assholish behavior I decided to stop playing the game. I'll still do what I love, contribute to the wiki, but that's it. I haven't really enjoyed the game for months now. Also, at the same time I realised that I haven't enjoyed dance games for a long time either, so I decided to stop playing them too. I'll use the free time I get to do something more useful like reading, studying and sleeping. Thanks for everything and see you on the wiki. -- (gem / talk) 14:49, 19 June 2007 (CDT)

Aha! Was wondering where you went :P Slooowly working on the vanq title. Will defo need your help for poisoned outcrops though. Figured out how to do it as the UW monksmite. You don't take spellbreaker, infact you take wary stance AND bonettis defence. Both will recharge fast enough to provide you constant defence against physical interrupts. A spellbreaker monk provides you with your SB, and a BiP provides you with an initial influx of energy. A Ranger brings frozen soil to stop the undead ressing each other and the rest are E/Me nukers with diversion just incase of mobs that won't fall. I thought I told everyone I was going away, oh well. :) Does that party build work well with heroes? Also, I'm coming home sometime on August 2 I think, probably very early, but then I'm leaving again to go camping with some friends only a few days afterwards, so it's basically now (then) or never, because EotN will be released not long after that, that is if you want to actually finish your 3 vanq titles... Or rather 4.

I will probably have to do some serious power gaming if I want to get my cartographer titles before EotN what with my camping and all, and helping you *raises fist*. ;P

Anyways, keep working on your vanq title, but don't waste your time failing with the poisoned outcrops, leave that to the big boys. ;)

I just read up on the bonus mission pack you get if you spend $29 in the shop, and I was just wondering if you are up for beating the crap out of those missions together with me, i.e. buying EotN online. Haha! You missed the dragon festival btw. Also, yes that poisoned outcrops build does work quite effectively even with heroes, but you have to ensure nobody starts with any master level quests... I can quite happily do it on my monk even with a party of only 6 people... but of course my ele can't do the same... Yeah I know, but it's a bit hard to farm for money here in Ecuador, so I just thought screw that crap. :P Well I rarely go out with any quests except for those I have to do, and that stuid Mallyx quest, so that should be of no issue if there's just the 2 of us. Also the 6 player part fits well because of my not having to control 2 damage dealing heroes in case of emergency while I'm tanking.

You still haven't answered my bonus mission pack question. :) I think it could actually be fun, unless they're all like The Deep/Urgoz's Lair.

Anyways, I'll finally be going home in roughly 35 hours (then I'll be in a plane for some 20 bastardous hours, but that's a different matter) so make sure you're ready!

Oh, and if you ever decide you want to go to Galapagos, make sure you also visit a place called Baños here in Ecuador. I prefer Baños not only because your skin doesn't get tomato..y red after one day, but because there's actually more to see there. It's also only about 1 hour away from the Amazon forest, which I didn't have time to see =/ but that's probably all for the best because I had no mosquito repellant with me, so I would've been eaten alive by the oh-so-cute whores. -Gets rid of the masses of indents- Well it looks like a slightly modified version of that SF-team build that seemed to become more and more standard right before I left. It worked very well when I was in that GoA team to get my tormented staff, but it's not the most fun build to use. Though because I'm a monk, I like having the party depend on me. :P Also, Seed of Life works amazingly well on any tank, so if you're the one to tank then I'll make sure to keep the party healed using more or less nothing but Seed of Life. I just thought of one thing, Cantha should be exceedingly easy to tank because of the insane amount of small roads (not taking into consideration the 50+ patrols that run around with 5000% increased movement speed). Also, I wonder if using 2 tanks makes it easier because of their ability to create a small corner of their own instead of using existing ones in the terrain. Dunno if that screws up the whole keeping agro thing as there'll be 2 of them so they might be constantly switching targets and might end up behind the tanks after a short while. Lemme know your thoughts. Oh, and we should start using something like Team Speak so I don't start writing when you or anyone else is dying, which has been known to happen. ;P Lerre 09:05, 31 July 2007 (CDT)

Hah, I'll look into teamspeak, otherwise, seed of life is actually amazing. I'm considering doing dzagonur bastion mission like so:

A bonder with one bond on everyone which will pretty much guarantee the bonder to get damage raped + a seed of life monk spammer on the bonder = win? Dunno just a thought. Either way, that mission will be fun. Yeah, a bonder+Seed of Life=win almost everywhere. You just have to make sure the bonder is taking almost constant small portions of damage, but that shouldn't be too hard in HM. Too bad Seed of Life can only be used by players though, otherwise I'd put it on a monk hero and we'd have no downtime on it. As it is now I think mine lasts for 11s without Blessed Aura, but as I use Blessed Aura on my glyph healing build it should last for 14-15s leaving the party vulnerable for a mere ~5s, which is nothing. The maxed DF on that build also helps.

Is there really that much disenchantment in Cantha? I only ever noticed single enchantments being ripped away, which isn't much. Though of course if you're bonding that could eventually be devastating what with their decreased recharge time. Life stealers always pose a problem, but we'll find a way to take them down quickly. I really do hate those blood drinkers though...

To get off topic, do you know whether TS or ventrilo is better? Or do you know of any other one(s) we could try? I remember ventrilo being stupidly bad some years ago, but now I have no idea what's best. I should probably buy a new headset since mine's, well, not entirely whole. I just got it! It's pre-installed as Vista, but I'm going to be using XP until Vista service pack 1 is released. I virtually live off of my /List pages so much so they've actually become my main page. I check by here quite often, so it's no biggie. OoB energy cost down to 1, touchers say "Thank you!". And that's just one of the unnecessary boosts. Too good builds -> even better too good builds. And they introduced a use for the hordes of useless items from past events in the form of a new maxable title.
