- Ye gods - this sig's almost as old as the wiki! Heh, I seem to remember the sig discussion over in the other place - I only posted a message here cos I needed info about offwiki :) I will sort it out for you, Mr Gem sir ^^ --Snograt talk here 20:03, 19 May 2007 (CDT)
- Hehe. :) Thanks, I'll return to deleting stuff which I find quite amusing when not able to make others suffer with their sigs and missing credits. ;P --

Nice work cleaning up after that guy tonight. :) --Rainith 03:39, 1 July 2007 (CDT)

Can you tell what's the rate of LB points gain? any chance it's better than the 'remains of' ss/lb run? Foo 05:11, 1 August 2007 (CDT)
- The Sulfurous Wastes still has a better rate, assuming you still have access to the quest there. If, like me, you solo-trap veil in HM, you will find that you can usually finish off the first two groups of 18 - so that's 36*8=288 points per run. Usually. Even if you place the same traps in the same place with the same timings, sometimes one or two critters just manage to escape. As I run with 3 superiors and 255 health, it's one-hit time.
- As it happens, I finished off my LB title the other day through farming the Foundry with two friends. That seemed to be much quicker, and the 6 Titan gems in 3 attempts made it worthwhile :)
- When all is said and done, I believe the "Remains of" run with the quest active is quicker and easier, whereas the DoA runs are more profitable and FUN! --Snograt

[edit] "I meant to do that!"
I don't agree with you. Name me more than five movies in which this line appears, connected with a character being knocked down. And while you do it, you might also help me with a general problem I have. Why are Wiki guys so eager to delete content? For every single thing I wanted to ad to any Wiki I had to fight. I thought Wikis were about collecting knowledge together. So why does every Wiki have some "selected" people who rule it and delete everything which new users write? Sorry for annoying you like this because of a minor problem, but it can get on your nerves to have everything deleted that you write ;) --- 84.141.84.199 08:10, 24 August 2007 (CDT)
Okay, regarding what you guys say on the discussion page, I see that I won't come through with it this time. Maybe they fail to translate it right, so I haven't heard it so often in German movies. ^^ So, nerver mind, but if you cloud explain the other thing to me, I would be really grateful :) --- 84.141.84.199 08:15, 24 August 2007 (CDT)
"I haven't heard it so often in German movies" - ah, it all becomes clear! Heh, seriously, this is a very common line that is used for comic effect when a character does something embarrassing like fall over. As to your second comment, I really hope it isn't really like that. You will see the same names often reverting vandalism and correcting obvious errors, but that is understandable. Personally, I spend a lot of time "patrolling" recent changes, mainly just to see news as it comes in but also to catch any vandalism as soon as it happens. In cases such as this, however, it's slightly different. The content of the various "Trivia" sections is something that is often hotly contested. A lot of skill names have been attributed to recent pop song titles, movie quotes and the like, but are often co-incidental or totally wrongly attributed. One way these sort of issues can be sorted out is by going to the official wiki and leaving a note on the talk page of Emily Diehl. She has, several times, confirmed or denied the source of various trivias (triviae? trivii??).
Finally, don't gt put off by what you may see as long term user elitism - we're really not like that! (well, most of us anyway). Oh, and register an account - join the happy throng! --Snograt

[edit] Let me know
If you want the secretgw domain re-established. We can do it easily enough for you. Sorry about that Penchina 02:39, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
- Wow, someone in power! Seems to be fine, thanks - all the problems I've had are not the fault of Wikia, or even GWG. Just the over-zealous security software at work :) Heh, I really shouldn't be editing at work, but what the hey? --Snograt

- Bored enough to enter a postscript. My employers have cracked down even harder, to the extent where even the dontcesorme.org .6a.nl suffix proxy is blocked. The filtering is so strict that it filters out a lot of our work-related sites - I can't even order stationery any more. Twats. Oddly, though, most wikia stuff is now allowed (presumably to allop wikipedia) so I'm back watching RC on the ol' site :) PvX is blocked, though :( --Snograt 00:49, September 30, 2009 (UTC)
