[edit] Impulse shopping
I bought a multi-tap for my PlayStation today, even though the only game I can play it on is Crash Team Racing - and I'm probably not even going to use it for that, it was £1. Is this just me, or do others horde items for their gaming for no reason whatsoever? RandomTime 19:17, 4 October 2008 (UTC)
- I have some novelty joysticks (including a pair of pinball buttons that you can place to the right and left of your keyboard), a spare PS1, lots of games I've never played, ... --◄mendel► 23:07, 4 October 2008 (UTC)
[edit] So...about that quote
It's from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. I just watched that clip in my English class yesterday!--UlmoSan 23:57, 7 October 2008 (UTC)
- Afaik someone already got it in the last archive. But RT never crossed it off.

- My GW Screenshot button has always been Print Screen, even after resetting the keyboard settings every so often and not changing it >.>" Also, Vista saves em in other places: <drive>/<username>/Documents/Guild Wars or something like that. Anyways, when you make a screenshot, it shows in-game where it is saved. ---

(Reset indent) Page Up didn't have anything on it for me, I have it currently set to cycle up and down through party members. --

[edit] Userbox
I have a question if I may. You created a lot of userboxes. Do you know if there is a way to change an userbox that already exists for example one of yours: {{User evil}} and chance the text to: This user has turned GOOD but still have: Categories: Users/ Evil at the bottem? --
† The Falling One© 09:12, 24 October 2008 (UTC)
- Have a look at Template:User evil. You can copy the code to your userpage, delete the stuff in the "noinclude" tags and also the "includeonly" tags (but not the category in them) to get what you want. Or use Template:User good that Randomtime created when he read your comment. --◄mendel► 13:49, 24 October 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Null edit?
[1]. A null edit would be where you don't change anything, and thus wouldn't pop up in RC :P --- -- (s)talkpage 19:10, 1 November 2008 (UTC)
- A null edit is when you click edit and immediately click save without changing anything, RT :P ¬ Wizårdbõÿ777(talk) 20:28, 1 November 2008 (UTC)
- That didn't fix the problem, so I did the next best thing (It was showing up in Category:Candidates for deletion RandomTime 20:54, 1 November 2008 (UTC)

It's not nice to kick people when they're down.

[edit] you broke irc
Whenever I use the !topic command, it gets rid of all the stuff in blue and only leaves what I write. But only me; everyone else restores the topic by just using !topic. Halp pls? --Shadowcrest 22:57, 8 November 2008 (UTC)
- a) it's fixed now

[edit] omg analog
It's funny, because broadband internet is faster in Korea than it is in US, yet here we are worried about the television. XC Also: good irony is good. That reminds me of classic tech support joke to tell angry customer: "If you cannot access the Internet, please send an e-mail to tech support..."

- Online manuals for modems are also a winner, imo. ---

[edit] You are perplexing
You can save Wikiresources next time by posting a scathing comment on FireTock's talkpage instead. Or just skip that shit and ban him.
(T/C) 03:17, 23 November 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah, that was the next step, I was annoyed, and there was no point. However, I don't think wikia minds one extra page. RandomTime 08:14, 23 November 2008 (UTC)

Your annotations were most helpful, as I hadn't heard of wikiEd before looking at your .js. I even copied the userbox already. —Dr Ishmael

[edit] South Africa?!
You'd better take your gun billyclub, I hear they have tigers roaming the streets there! And no education!
