Thoughtful the Cursed is the fifth Corsair to be corrupted by the elder dragon of Arah's magic in Guild Wars 2. He is also the commander of a large squadron of Corsairs. He is the first target of the instanced quest A Time for Battle in the Taking back Arah quest chain.

• After he dies, a cutscene begins of him being released from The Dragon's magic. He stands back up and black mist comes out around him and dissapears. He bows and says "Thank you, heroes." He then runs off.
• He is later seen in The Dragon of Arah's Lair (with the other released Corsair leaders) as Healed Thoughtful.
