The name is from a poem that is quoted in the movie Groundhog Day, where Andie MacDowell quotes it to Bill Murray out of disgust at his gluttonous, self-centered display in the diner.

I just thought it was a nice name for a male necromancer, and a nice way to commemorate my wife's and my favorite movie.

This was the first character I created when I was flush with plats, mostly from running, but a little from farming. So he is the only character so far with 15K armor--currently sporting Grotto Tormentor's armor dyed various shades of Black + Blue, to astounding effect, if I say so myself. (I think besides being sharp in Necro style, the color brings out the blue in my mohawk!)

I am looking forward to running the Ruins of the Tomb with WRETCH as MM and Orders necro on B/P teams, and duoing UW as an SS/SV necro.

UPDATE: Yes, indeed, Wretch has done both necro roles in the Tomb Ruins many times, and I seem to make a particular splash in the Orders role there. My long-term ingame friend and guildmate Adrian Monk Ii got me into UW duo runs finally. This is a big reason my necro has the 2nd most XP of any of my characters--and also the main reason my mesmer has Fissure armor!
