Oh, you just had to click on my name, eh? :-)

OK then, a bit about me. I'm a long-time Guild Wars player and have several maxed accounts. My favorite account is my Survivor title track account -- that is, all ten characters are pursuing various level of the Survivor title track. So far, 9 have achieved Legendary Survivor (max rank). I am currently working on my last character, a Warrior, who has so far reached Indomitable Survivor. Achieving the first level of the title track has become quite easy for me, regardless of character class.

My monk, Avatar Of Order, reached Legendary Survivor! During the Double XP for Elite Skill Captures weekend around 2007-01-12, she got 55 Captures and did a bunch of quest and missions in Nightfall and Cantha to surge from 480k experience to the 1,337,500 threshold.

My dervish, Avatar Of Mystics, reached Legendary Survivor on 2007-05-09. She only got to participate in the Double Cap Weekend of May04-May-06 for about 5 hours. But with the approximately 30 caps on that Sunday plus more in the following 3 days, she crossed the rank 3 line.

My assassin, Avatar Of Disbelief, reached Legendary Survivor on 2007-07-22. She was only 37 days old. Over the Double Cap Weekend from Jul20-Jul22, she went from about 280,000 experience to 1,337,500 mostly by capturing 107 Elite skills.

Sadly, I am missing notes on my other Legendary Survivor characters:

  • Avatar Of Cosmos [Elementalist]
  • Avatar Of Disorder [Mesmer]
  • Avatar Of Horror [Necromancer]
  • Avatar Of Tragedy [Ritualist]
  • Avatar Of Silencing [Ranger]
  • Avatar Of Survivor [Paragon]
  • Avatar Of Arms [Warrior] (rank 2 so far)

After playing Guild Wars for over a year as a fierce independent, the death of my Ritualist survivor a scant 50k experience points from Indomitable Survivor convinced me maybe it was time to join a guild. So I joined KAOS (Kings Army Of Surmia) which is an a Luxon Alliance with 9 other guilds. Good folks, an active guild and alliance, lots of folks playing PvE (my preference), along with lots of PvP, GvG, AB, and HB.

But as with many guilds, it split apart due to internal differences. So I joined a guild that was previously in our Alliance (another long story of why the Alliance blew apart). So my new guild is called "We Need Therapy [NOW]". Good group -- almost entirely PvE focused which fits me better anyway.

With the release of Nightfall, I've been generating temporary characters in order to unlock all of the normal skills from each expansion cheaply so that I have a full range available for my heroes. This should also aid in keeping my Survivor characters alive more easily. As an aside, the addition of heroes has been a real blessing for Survivor characters.
