Maui is an Elementalist boss that can be found in her talkpage and on MySpace. She has been known to be unduly aggressive in her defense of the Am Fah Assassins that spawn with her. When approaching her spawn location, having the Chalice of Corruption in your inventory will trigger a brief dialogue, and spawn Defiant Elements, a potent Smiting and Bonding Monk boss. - If the Chalice of Corruption is in your inventory when approaching Maui in Kaineng City, a brief dialogue will play out. This is followed by the spawning of the level thirty Smiting Monk boss, Defiant Elements, whom Maui refers to as "Banjthulu." The Am Fah mob that spawns with Maui will attack as soon as the dialogue ends, so be prepared!
- In addition to using Smiting Prayers skills to great effect, Defiant Elements will begin to Bond Maui soon after he appears. Focusing fire on one or both of them is a must, as their combined abilities can decimate an unprepared party.
- While the Elite skill Avatar of Maui appears to be based around this boss, it cannot be captured from her by any known method.
- Despite being a Factions boss, she uses two Nightfall-exclusive skills: further proof that girls cheat.
- This boss stole a number of her userboxes from Striker and Gigathrash, and Felix let her borrow his templates for her characters. Eventually she'll put up the rest of them.

NotesLanner is my first and my favorite. She's logged two-thirds of my play time, and while she's easily my most accomplished PvE character, she doesn't see as much RA or AB action as my assassin or mesmer. Rangers seem to have very defined roles in PvP (ie, either interrupter or cripshotter) and I don't much enjoy following conventions. She is, however, my only avatar that is versed in Hero Battles. This has a lot to do with the fact that she is my only avatar with runed Heroes.

NotesAn AB and RA champion, Miero's favorite methods include a vicious Shadow Arts spike and a siege of Dagger Mastery knockdowns. In PvE, he's most often training to run Droknar's Forge wielding a Zodiac Staff, and cursing the day the Stone Summit were born.

NotesGenerally encountered as an interrupter/Dominator (hence the name), Mistress has been known to run a fastercast fire build in PvE, where anti-caster and e-denial spells are far less effective than, say, a nice Meteor Shower. After all, interrupting a Stoneflesh Mandragor doesn't make him ragequit.

NotesSlower in her PvE progress than most of my other characters, Rhemie nonetheless boasts the most expensive gear outside of Lanner. I usually use her in Alliance Battles, and we're steadily H/Hing our way through Elona.

NotesA brand-new addition to my characters, Gryphon has the dubious accomplishment of taking a ferry to Cantha and Tyria, traveling to the Eye of the North, reaching level twenty and rank five in the Norn title, and then crafting Norn armor, all before completing The Honorable General. Currently, her favored weapon is a req-nine Razorclaw Scythe, and no matter what you say, I like that skin, so shut up.

NotesA hybrid Elementalist, Boyfriends usually runs a defensive Earth/Air build of wards and conditions, or an offensive Fire/Water build of hexes and nukes. While her name is meant to synergize with guild tag [CrY], it seems to cause quite a stir read on its own, too.
