[edit] Kai's Story

Kai Neah Nung is a versatile monk born in Ascalon. He left his home as a young, 8 levels old boy to defend Ascalon from the Charr Invasion. Although he was able to win the battle, the Charr were able to overun and destroy wide parts of his homeland. So he decided to lead his folks to Lion's Arch to find a new home.

After some time he realized that he was not yet willing to settle down and started to face an even bigger thread than the Charr: The Lich. After defeating this enemy he spent some time in killing huge amounts of foes lingering in Tyria, Underworld and Fissure of Woe. This enabled him to amass some nice treasures. Some would say he was wealthy, but he spend most of his money for things he didn't use as there was no other use for it. The Fissure Armor was out of question as he did not want to look like some ordinary pool attendant.

Tampering with his environment he met his friend Hidden Fog who was a member of the mighty Unique Dragon Lords, a guild specialized in making it's way to Hall of Heroes. So he decided to leave earthly treasures behind and fight in an eternal tournament for fame and glory.

Some years and many victories later, his school day friend Mhenlo called him to once again save the world. Kai followed his call and stood up against the mighty Shiro Tagachi. After ending the ancient hostility between the Kurzick and the Luxon he was able to defeat his enemy within minutes with the help of his friends.

Stunned by the new brag system he started to maximize his knowledge of everything. He traveled to some spots he's never been before and found many treasures. But as there was a limitation in time, motivation and money he once again turned towards Hero's Ascend.

As many of you might know, some time after Shiro was defeated a new evil arose in the southern lands of Elona. The once banned god Abaddon tried to regain power in the world of the living. He spoiled the young and beautiful warmarshal Varesh Ossa. Furtunately Kai and his friends were able to quickly break through the border to the tormented lands by killing warmarshal Ossa. Even in this extremely hostile environement those brave humans travelled on and eventually reached Abaddon himself. After a quick and hard fight the forces of the light, guided by Kormir, were able to defeat the god. So there was peace again in Elona and Kai turned towards new challanges.

The one great challange Kai found within the years was to gather every possible title. Until now he's gifted with not less than 18 titles of which 7 are on their maximum. There are 3 more titles in reach for him and the border of 10 million experiece points is well ahead, so these tings will most likely what he's trying to achieve next.

Kai Neah Nung travelled every continent. Currently he can be found in Realm of Torment, where he's trying to raise his reputation among the Lightbringers to eventually get one of their saints.

• Ever changing upgrades/stats
  • There are people who try to max outh their PvE characters by buying perfect weapons... One day later they are worth nothing
    • E.g. 10/10 -> 20/20, new Staves with 20% global recharge (and the Rockmolder was nerved... extreme LOL for that), etc.
      • Ok, dislike is the wrong expression here... Kai hates that

• 6 person Hero's Ascend
  • It prohibits complex builds, so prosperity is drastically decreased

• The new Absinthe
  • Why does it last for only one minute?

• Anti-Farming Updates
  • Comment from Anet (gist):
    • "We don't want to stop farming"
      • We've seen that
    • "Farming destroys the economy"
      • That's ridiculus... Farming quickens economy, without money you can't buy anything. Great.
      • If you try to avoid botting please change the mobs at key locations as you did with the Tengu.
        • All in all there is no way of earning massive amount of money left other than cheating players when trading
