[edit] Structure

Everyone in Hells Ally has the rank of Officer - we operate on the basis that if someone can't be trusted with that rank, they're not desirable to game with.

[edit] Notable Accomplishments

For a few weeks we (by we, I mean a friend and I) made a small push on the Challenge Mission Ladder, until we got bored and tired of all the lame AFK challenge missions, and the bugs prevalent throughout them.

[edit] Disputes

[edit] 21 Apr 2007 Dragon's_Throat_(mission)

I had helpfully noted that killing the ranger boss in this mission twice does not yield a time bonus like the other bosses. GuildWiki user:Armond reverted this edit, which implied (if only unintentionally) that I am retarded and don't know anything about a mission I've run dozens of times, without even taking the time to test my assertion.

So, after burying my dead rabbit, Mr.BunnyHops, I took the time to test his/her assertion that none of the bosses can give you more than one time bonus, though I knew it to be incorrect:

Here I am killing the mesmer boss for the first time. He is so gonna die.

Here he is dead. Timer gained a minute.

Here I am waiting for him to respawn. I have a pretty purple dress. So pretty.

Here I am killing him again. He is so gonna be dead.

Here he is dead a second time. Timer gained yet another minute to it. This is how we stay in there a long time and get those high scores and catch Extensive Plague Exposure. The Ranger boss in there, he will only give you a minute on his first spawn. He will also only spawn 2 times, when most of the other bosses in there have a spawn limit of 3. Dragon's Throat has a theoretical limit to the number of points you can get in it.

Sir/ma'am, if you have read and acknowledged my rightness in this matter, through lack of desire to press the issue or have verified my rightness through your own tests, please affix a message along the lines of :u r sorite below this. This will, though shallow as it is, make me feel like I won an argument on the internets, and somewhat compensate me for the time spent on confirming what I knew to be true. If you feel like I'm being condescending or hate me, you can affix :ura jerk, which won't make me feel as happy, but will at least let me know my attempt to educate/inform people about the game isn't in vain.

Even though your page hasn't been edited since April 07 (~6 months), I still want to show that I took the time to look at your research data and I'm happy to inform you (or not) that the dragon's throat page has since been modified to reflect either your research (which I seriously doubt, since I'm probably the only one who reads all the user pages I stumble upon), or that someone else has modified it after seeing the same issue within the game. Long story short... (:U r Sorite! M8) ;)Chlikaflok 04:14, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
I reverted his change and gave him some sass to look here in the history comments of that page. It does make me a little sad he didn't give me a ursorite comment, but eh. He just misunderstood some basic things about the mission. That the Ranger only gives/gave one time bonus makes a massive difference in planning routes for that place.. -- JadeWarrior 02:48, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
