When I do play her, though, I'm usually using her axe because it was a gift from my boyfriend. I do play hammers on occasion, but I prefer to use my ranger for that.

Innovindil is a character in R. A. Salvatore's books in Forgotten Realms. Felosial was a random name pulled from a D&D Elven naming guide. I had fun with Innovindil in RA and AB for awhile, then I decided to use my assassin, necromancer, mesmer and elementalist more. I've had many people ask for my Dervish build, many others try to steal it, but I've only shared it with two other people (my boyfriend and his cousin)

Gaz is the name of a character in Invader Zim, and "Der Soulstealer" is a reference to an episode of Invader Zim called "Mortos Der Soulstealer". I originally created Gaz solely for the purpose of using a scythe, and only after I completed Nightfall did I begin to use daggers. My boyfriend, sister and I all had quite a time editing screenshots to find the perfect armor combination for her until I finally decided on what she wears now. I played RA and AB with her for awhile, but since she's melee, I got bored of her and chose my casters instead.

I just cover it up with her Luxon Channeling Headwrap now. I play Channeling more than anything else on her. Her name is a reference to System of a Down's song, Toxicity, as well as another song... Perhaps Ego Brain? I'll have to look it up.

"Drelias" came to me in a strange dream one night. The dream was something along the lines of "never forget our true names..." When I awoke, I remembered only the names and how to spell them. For months, I didn't write them down, but I now have those names saved in a Notepad file on my computer. "Melaku" was a randomly generated last name from my mind that I used for various PvP characters until I settled down to create a Mesmer. I enjoy using her in RA and AB when I'm not using my necromancer, elementalist or ranger.

Latrial means "Night Dancer" and Nimvanna means "Deep Forest" in Elven. I'd made several PvE rangers before Latrial, but deleted them all because I couldn't get into the class. One day, I became determined to make a beastmaster, and haven't looked back since. She has had her hearty tiger, Darius, since Latrial's first day in the game. Latrial is actually named in honor of a house mouse that I caught in a live trap, but she didn't survive but a few hours. The real Latrial is now buried beside my house. This ranger, as a beastmaster, has only been beaten once in 1v1 (actual guild hall 1v1, not hero battles) and has won me quite a bit of money. I used to exclusively play Latrial in AB, but got tired of people not wanting to let me into their groups because I didn't want to ping my secret build.

Syntriel is the second character I kept, but I left her at level 17 for a year and a half because I was sick of trying to do the desert missions with PUGs. When I started playing again, I first played Air Magic, then Earth Magic, and now I'm playing Water Magic. Her name is that of my half-drow D&D character, though my D&D character more closely resembles my ranger, Latrial Nimvanna. "Koehali" is in Elven, but I forgot what it means...

Illharess was my first character that I kept, and she is by a huge margin my absolute favorite. Her name means "Matron of Chaos" in Drow. I used to play Guild Wars solely for the purpose of playing Illharess in FoW or UW, but I quit PvE once Ursan Blessing became a requirement for any PvE activity. My favorite build to run is SS, and I play that a lot in RA and AB. I now identify all golds that I find on my necromancer, and I'm hoping to earn a few max titles. Illharess is the only character who I will allow to wear more than a single minor piece of Vabbian armor, the only one who may have more than a two pieces of armor dyed black, and the only one who may use an "expensive" birthday mini (Miniature Lich, although Latrial has a mini Longhair Yeti). I earned every one of her gems for Vabbian Armor by doing quests or finding them in my travels. I didn't do that because I couldn't afford it otherwise, but because I thought it would be more fun to earn the armor the right way. She still wears her first set of Elite armor for blood and curses (only her scar and boots have changed), but her MM set includes my favorite two Vabbian pieces (gloves and top). I have lost count of how many compliments I have gotten on her armor combination. Her portrait is outdated, as I have since bought her Slim Spectacles, Tinted Spectacles and a Bandana to replace all of her old Istani scar patterns. I'm in love with her Celestial Compasses and Frog Scepter. XD

I used to play Bekea all the time for FoW and she was the first character for whom I started reserving all my golds. After nearly a year, I finally became sick of the way she looked and wanted to recreate my first Tyrian monk, hence Shebali. Bekea is now used only as a mule for items I never got around to selling, but couldn't bring myself to just discard. That's why her equipment doesn't make much sense. She is now all but abandoned.
