- Kole's Torment is recommended.
- Use Glyph of Renewal before using Verata's Sacrifice to maintain an army of minions.
- Death Nova can be substituted for skills like Rotting Flesh, Life Siphon, or Well of Blood.
- If you are in an area that will generate many corpses, substite Blood Renewal for Taste of Death and move as many attribute points as possible from Blood Magic to Soul Reaping.
