[edit] What a Circus...

Alright then, so this page is under way! Finally, first some thanks. Thank you to "User:Rainith" for allowing me the use of these awesome user boxes. It takes time and effort, so if you like them, go to his "User talk:Rainith/Test " and show him some love.

Ok, so now that is out of the way, let us look at the characters I play, and some of my "builds" that I use.

[edit] Carnival King

The Carnival King is my "flagship" character, and the one I spend the most time playing. Each and every character I make is a reflection of me in some regards, and I love playing the Mesmer above all else. One of the sad things I noticed when I was watching the demos my freinds played was how whiny and annoying high-level Mesmers were. Always complaining, always unhappy about a lack of skill focus and being "forced to using the same three skills." I promised myself I would try and make Mesmers an important class again, and prove that you can do so much more than "Backfire, Power Spike, Phantasm".

He was built to be a "Punishment Mesmer", focusing on immediate reprecussions against enemy abilities. Here is an example of my current skill list. Please note that while the Carnival King is a Mesmer/Ranger, no ranger skills are taken. Hench, this skill list can be used by pure Mesmers to great effect. Also note that a vast majority of these skills are only truly useful in a PvE environment, so results may vary in PvP.

Now, I know what you are thinking: "Backfire and Power Spike? I thought you were tring to get away from them!" The truth is, Backfire is just too important not to take, and Power Spike is just there as a secondery interrupt. I'll work on changing that out at some other point.

As for equipment, I currently use a Cane of Memory and an Hanaku's Focus. Hanaku's Focus is very handy to have due to its extra Domination assistance.

[edit] Cruac King

Ever since I saw my first Flesh Golem, I knew I wanted to play a Minion Master. Thus I made Cruac King: A Ritualist Necromancer for Factions.

The idea on this was not so much to create a lot of minions, but a steady flow of smaller minions (created by the Shambling Horrors) and use the level 21 Flesh Golem as a mini-fighter henchen while I cast lots of death spells.

As I started to play and grow more experienced, I realised i needed two types of build, just in case someone was, for example, a MM already. So, I created a moderate Spirit Build.

[edit] Cherubim King

Image:Cherubim King Face.JPG

Nicknamed "The Sunblessed Soldier", Cherubim King is a pleasent change. With two casters under me, I thought I needed a melee fighter. After seeing Paragons in the beta of Nightfall, and reading that they had the same armour benefits as Warriors, I made up my mind.

This is an experimental Swordsman Build that I am playing about with.
