(if you would like a guild talk to me, we're always recruiting!) sorry about that, my guild leader would never forgive me if I didnt at least attempt to get someone to join. [edit] WHAT MY CHARACTER NAMES MEAN:

I know i have really weird character names so I thought I should explain them all for people.

Bast The Gatekeeper- Bast is the egyptian goddess of Cats (and many other things), Cats are the traditional guardians of the gates of the underworld- thus, Bast is the Gatekeeper

Devourer of Moirai- Moirai is the Greek name for the Fates, thus I eat Fate.

Shadow of Mnemosyne- Mnemosyne was the Greek titan of Memory, so it is the Shadow of Memory

On Pain of Sanity- There is an expression, 'on pain of death', well, the fate worse than death is seeing the world as it really is, thus Sanity.

Amaunet Kaheet- This has a really cool meaning in Ancient Egyptian, I just do not remember what it is...

Bast Lady of Caedes- The bast is because my alliance members always yell at me because they don't know who I am as all of my names are different, Caedes is blood or slaughter in latin.

You've all seen her, stalking the halls of Kurzick territory, killing the feared Abbadon, 'accidently' burning those poor innocent Asura... Finally, the story behind the girl:

Bast the Gatekeeper was born on the continent of Cantha, on the outskirts of a small town called Durheim Archives. She lived with her mother and father until the tender age of 7, when she killed them both. Their death was the beginning in a long line of murder and betrayal. She was sent to an orphanage of the coast of Cantha, on an island known as Shing Jea. At the age of 14 she ran away from the drug addled matrons and entered Shing Jea monastery. A highly intelligent adolescent, she chose to follow one of the most difficult paths of study. As a mesmer she transformed from a loner to a protector of humanity. She sped through the ranks of Shing Jea, and, only a year later, arrived back upon her home continent of Cantha. There she fought against the evil of Shiro Tagachi, when the day she had dreaded came. She was sent to speak to the Kurzicks, who all hated her for her crime of murdering her parents, and the Luxons, who all assumed she allied with the other side. She earned the trust of both after much time, but betrayed the Kurzicks a second time by joining an alliance against their depression and malice. The Luxons welcomed such an able mesmer into their ranks. She then destroyed the plague sent by Shiro and defeated the menace. For a time she wandered the continent of Cantha, doing idle jobs for those in need, and driving kurzicks back deep into their own territory, continuing the mass murder she had begun as a child.. Once she had helped everyone, and had become tired of the drug culture so predominant in Cantha, she began to search for a new challenge. She found it when a call came from the ministers of Kaineng City. She investigated the source of the earthquakes and set off on another adventure. There she allied three races, and saved Tyria from the Destroyers. She wandered the new realm for some time, but before she had tired of its scope a new call rose. Elona needed her aid! There she is putting native born Elonians to shame by ripping through the ranks of the Sunspears and stopping the dreaded Varesh Ossa.

Bast the Gatekeeper has been hailed as Protector of Cantha, Sunspear Castellan, Daring Delver, Not Too Annoying, Sentinel of the Luxons, and many more.

She enjoys killing Kurzicks, obtaining masters on missions, doing side quests, and helping her guild mates.

She dislikes people who discriminate against mesmers and would like to challenge all of them to a battle. (one at a time obviously). She also dislikes people who get run through missions or don’t level up.

She can be found in Elona, saving the worthless people, and in Alliance Battles, killing the even more worthless people.
