User:Abs of Glue/Support Ritualist
From GuildWiki
- This build, originally made by everdream (Gameamp, will post link to original site soon), it is very effective in giving healers necessary energy to heal, as well as provides support for both the front and backlines.
[edit] Attributes and Skills
- The other attributes can be put into whatever.
[edit] Equipment
- Any staff with HCT and HSR of Restoration Magic.
- Possibly a Totem Axe and a 20/20 Ritualist Offhand could suffice.
- Superior Restoration rune with highest Vigor Rune. Minor Spawning can help increase your spirit health by a little. Runes of Attunement are recommended, since you may be spamming skills frequently.
- Place spirits just within range of your team, but not so that they will be destroyed by enemies.
- Use Vengeful Weapon for a cheap heal, and to damage your foes.
- Place Weapon of Warding on allies taking quite a beating. Do not spam this skill, as it can be harmful to energy and can be interrupted easily.
- Use Well of Blood to provide significant health regen, along with Recuperation, as well as corpse control.
- Use BiP at the end of battle on casters or fallen allies to speed up regen. Try not to use this often in battle, as the 33% sacrifice can be problimatic.
- Ressurect allies with FoMF.
[edit] Counters
- Energy denial
- Interuption of key spells
- Spirits being removed from battle remove key healing.
[edit] Variants
- Use Mend Body and Soul in place of Soothing Memories. Cast it while standing near your spirits for condition removal.
- Both effects of the spirits heal minions. During missions such as Vizunah Square where you may have 2 MM's, this can help heal all minions considerably so that the MMs themselves to not have to sacrifice as much.
- Since your spirits are Binding Rituals, they are not affected by HCT and HSR weapon modifiers.
- If you have an MM on your team, refrain as much as possible from using Well of Blood. Other skills may possibly fit in just in case.
- Recuperation costs a whopping 25 Energy, so use it with care.
