[edit] Introduction

With all of the really fun contests going around, I thought I would also have to make one. I've tried to think out of the box on this one, and that is very hard when you are trying to relate it to Guild Wars. So, I have come up with something that is challenging to participate in.

This is not for jokes. It is strictly realistic. First, you should make a page in your userspace such as: User:BoBo The It Clown/Clown Profession. Line break your links: Clowns.

It is acceptable to post more than one, but don't spam tons please. If you do, you will be dubbed: the nubcakezorz.

[edit] Basic Guidelines

The Profession article describes a profession as: "A profession is a set of attributes and skills that define your character's abilities."

Using the Profession page for a formatting model is a good idea.

1. Your profession MUST have a realistic name and premesis. "Clown" is not one of them.
2. Your profession MUST have a Primary attribute, such as Strength.
3. Your profession MUST have at least 3 (three), but no more than 4 (four) other secondary attributes, such as Tactics.
4. Each attribute must have a description, fitting what you intend it to do.

You may include a profession icon. the file name should look like this: File:Clown-icon.png. It should be a '.png' file.

This is what the Warrior skill description looks like:

Warrior (W)

• Strength: Every rank gives an additional 1% armor penetration on attack skills and increases the effectiveness of Strength-based skills.
• Swordsmanship: Increases damage and effectiveness of sword strikes and sword-based skills.
• Axe Mastery: Increases damage and effectiveness of axe strikes and axe-based skills.
• Hammer Mastery: Increases damage and effectiveness of hammer strikes and hammer-based skills.
• Tactics: Increases the duration and effectiveness of tactics based skills, which include many shouts and stances.

Include an in-depth description of the profession for readers and judges.

Anyone can participate, and I myself will be participating and judging (but only for other peoples').

The new profession should be very different from any of the current professions, and must worship one of the Five Gods: Balthazar, Dwayna, Melandru, Lyssa, and Grenth. The new profession may also worship Abaddon, Unseen Ones, Menzies, or Dhuum.

• Dhuum - New Death, Shadow Damage, and Dark Magic-related professions?
• Menzies - New Fire, Melee, and Blunt Damage-related professions?
• Unseen Ones - New Arcane, Caster, and Chaos Damage-related professions?
• Abaddon - New Knowledge, Truth, and Light Magic-related professions?
• Others: go ahead and think one up.
