[edit] Acquisition
Trade Contracts are offered as rewards for doing quests in Vabbi. There are four Vabbi Trade Officials located in The Kodash Bazaar who will offer various rewards in exchange for the contracts.
Like most quest items, Trade Contracts cannot be sold to merchants, and cannot be salvaged.
The following quests reward Trade Contracts:

By far the best trade in value for these is to trade 7 contracts for one Sapphire or Ruby. Players should be aware of the value of these contracts before selling them to other players.
By doing all listed Quests you will be granted total 27 Trade Contracts, or just 1 Trade Contract short of 4 Gems.
A player would need 224 Trade Contracts if one wishes to buy the Vabbian Armor (16 sapphires and 16 rubies, subtract 2 on each for paragon).
