- NPCs in GvG bases do; I don't think AB NPCs count. Oh, and the Zaishen in HA count I think. ---

- Can't really imagine the zaishen in HA giving faction. Unless you mean the Henchmen that you can add to your group in the staging area. --

In AB, you get faction every time you kill an NPC, unless it was resurrected by an Orb. This lead to the conclusion that NPCs are reaplced by entirely new ones when you cap a shrine, which makes sense.
