In-game[]

Does someone know what in-game character looks for players to give kudos to? --Sorcix the Lazy 13:11, 19 December 2006 (CST)

Confusing wording, but I think I know what you're asking. The Scribe's identity (or identities) has been kept secret from the general public, presumably so the random acts of kindness aren't faked or insincere. - BeXoR Bexor 13:30, 19 December 2006 (CST)
Actually, there is a character called "Monastery Scribe" which occasionally attends Gaile appearances. --Santaxlolwut? 15:10, 15 February 2007 (CST)

Gone Missing[]

Hmm before now a new issue of the scribe has been released every week on Tuesday. Why isn't this weeks issue of the scribe released? Zyphern 20:26, 12 April 2007 (CDT)

Only one appearance since April now. An explanation would be good. Come on Anet! --Alexrob 09:50, 25 June 2007 (CDT)

What happened to the scribe? I used to enjoy reading the articles, but they haven't had one since November. Anyone know?

Yeah, I also read the articles every week. Their entire site is a bit stale these last few months. I remember checking daily for new articles, now I can check every week and wouldn't be surprised to find nothing new. Silver Sunlight SSunlight 10:25, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
Andrew Patrick slowed down (ie stopped) due to being involved with the PvP community, as at the time a tournament was being set up and held. After the reshuffle in position, there hasn't been word on re-starting the Scribe (again). --Kale Ironfist 13:40, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
On her journal post from 5/16, Regina said, "There are no plans to restart The Scribe." —Dr Ishmael Diablo the chicken 16:33, 20 May 2008 (UTC)

Scribe news[]

On the french speaking part of guildwars.com, The Scribe related some stories about "some confections and beverages" that we could, in "a few days", find over the world of Tyria. And he is also speaking about some old stories that Durmand could tell us..

So.. wintersdays are coming.. and, on my guess, the bonus mission pack too.. ;-)

Update: english version here.. — Corsaire Corsaire Signature 20:12, 20 November 2007 (UTC)

The American Scribe page differs from the others by showing an image of pumpkin pie. Looks like the stories of confections and beverages might actually apply to a Thanksgiving event rather than the usual Wintersday. --Glommon 22:42, 20 November 2007 (UTC)

Mmm.. right.. I'm not american and.. forgot about Thanksgiving.. my fault.. :D ;) — Corsaire Corsaire Signature 07:28, 21 November 2007 (UTC)
