Talk:Summon Ice Imp

From GuildWiki

Bah, the real Ice Imp doesn't even have Ice Spikes. The Real Thing is far more annoying. Mind Freeze, then Maelstrom, and finally spike you to death with Ice Spear spammage. Oh well, I guess if you had 8 players use this you could have basically an NPC "Spike" team in addition to the players. No pun intended. Image:Entropy Sig.jpg (T/C) 23:28, 20 August 2007 (CDT)

If it was real then Summon Mursaat >>>>>>>>>> All --Blue.rellik 23:59, 20 August 2007 (CDT)

I think this summons is underapreciated. This is the only summons that the monster can cast an AoE spell. Still like the OP, I wish is an AoE spell like Maelstrom.---DK

Only one asura summon can be summoned per person. The limit does not apply towards the team. And yea this spell is good in low level areas where there are lots of enemies bunched together as most AoE spells cost at least 10 energy. At a high enough Asura rank this guy can pump out a good 2-3 ice spikes for ~40-60 damage (on level 15s) 152.8.182.110 07:47, 6 September 2007 (CDT)

Do summon spells trigger Boon of Creation and other ritualist skills that refer to "creating", are they affected by Spawning Power's bonus health?

When using this spell with Signet of Illusions at 16 Illusion Magic, I obtain a level 21 Imp which lasts a little over one minute. Zulu Inuoe 18:18, 10 September 2007 (CDT)

I actually think this summon is decent when you have either large groups or your party does lots of AoE because the ice spikes causes slow, keeping them in the AoE longer. Thats just me though. Rooble0818 17:17, 24 September 2007 (CDT)

I use it alot on my Monk, when i solo. I just remplace the Rez skill with it (as i close to never need it anyway) and pump a bit of extra damage, and get a disposable mini tank ^^ -Ayashi- 7 octobre 2007

Can you summon 1 of these AND an ebon vanguard one? Bored 10:31, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

Of course. Ebon Vanguard Assassin Support isn't a Summon. It's just a ninja popping in for a little while to help out.76.94.118.240
The restriction on summons is that each character can only have one Asura summon active at a time. You can have an asuran summon and the Ebon Assassin at the same time. In fact, using echo you can have multiple Assassins as they do not have the same "no duplicates" condition that asuran summons do -Ezekiel [Talk] 10:01, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
I dont see what all the people are complaining about , this summon (compared to the others) is great , the only unfortunate thing is that its on an AI and thuss it might prioritise a Mesmer over a Warrior , wich would be a better target for its snaring abillity. True , qua dammage it sucks but in overal this makes a great summon.
