If I had to guess, I'd say ur right about the tuning fork thing...

Seems to have slightly different blade texture could be wrong...

3 Levels of Blades... Edit

I believe this follows the same 3 levels of blades we see in the "Sage Blades" and the "Scimitars" because, if you take a look at this blade, the Notched Blade, and the Aureate Blade you can see the evolution of blades. I believe this is intentional. The order of progression would go Notched Blade (level 1), Singing Blade (level 2), Aureate Blade (level 3). And you might even be able to say that the Tormented Sword is, perhaps, the ultimate version of this series. I don't know if that was done intentionally or not, but it's kind of nifty to see. The artists had fun designing these, I can only hope we'd give them credit where it's due. :)

For clues, check both the bladed part itself and the evolution of the handle. I think you'll get what I'm saying. Dagotta 21:25, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
