Talk:Poisoned Outcrops

What an entirely useless area. Only got there because there was smoke trap and martyr close bye. Anooneemiss 03:06, 20 March 2007 (CDT)
- Personally i think its the coolest looking area in the entire game. Also I like to challenge my self by trying to beat Droajam, mage of the Sands in hard mode. --The Gates Assassin 23:16, 27 June 2007 (CDT)
- There are a few quests that take place in that Poisoned Outcrops. The same can be said for alot of other areas in all the campains. I also agree with the previous poster in saying this is my favorite area in nightfall, the white sky looks too awesome. Shame they didn't use the area more -Mo
- I just finished vanquishing poisoned outcrops. 174 enemies. There were no ruby djinn whatsoever, despite the article listing them as being present. The elemental mobs consisted of two sapphires with two diamond djinn, or various combinations of sandstorm and shambling mesas. Pucktrapper 07:51, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
- Djinn groups seem to be randomly generated. I've seen a group of two ruby and a diamond, then rezoned and seen a ruby, saphire, and diamond group. The diamond ones seem to remain constant. Merick 13:34, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
- We finished with ~200 enemies, but found some Dune Beetle Lances at lvl 26 in the South-East. They popped up. Kaede 15:44, 28 December 2008 (UTC)
- Added them to the Monsters-Section. Kaede 04:05, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
When I first went here I thought it said "Poisoned Octopus" xD Lost-Blue 04:13, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
Probably the second worst area to vanquish in NF with heroes and henchies (after Joko's Domain, which I have not completed yet - trying to get a guildie to go with and run a coordinated mass damage builds like BP rangers or SF eles). Took me three tries - first I just gave up with 30% DP and only 12 kills (aggro'd 2 groups right on the shrine and just /resign), second I got a boss spawn with 3 monks after about 45 kills and third I slogged my way through. --Falseprophet 15:02, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
Did it in my first run with H/H and find it not so difficult.. The only problem could have been Droajam, Mage of the Sands, but Pain Inverter took him down in like 3 seconds. The rest of the area is like regular elonian area with an exception of Frozen Soil which is a must skill when fighting undead groups. Taking dervish or smiting monk is also a good idea since holy dmg doubles to undead. 81.210.72.12 08:16, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
