Talk:Naga

From GuildWiki

We might want to move this to Naga (Species) as there are low level creatures by the name of Naga on the island that the Shing-Ji Monastery is located (or however it is spelled). --Rainith 10:07, 25 March 2006 (CST)

Wait untill they are in the final product? It would be an easy move. there is only like 6 of them or so. --Karlos 12:04, 25 March 2006 (CST)
*nod* I agree we should wait, I just wanted to put the note here, if nothing else to remind me later. --Rainith 12:05, 25 March 2006 (CST)

By the way, why did they change Naga Hide to Naga Skin, I wonder. — Stabber 12:08, 25 March 2006 (CST)

Are you sure, the Naga Hide was AFAIK only dropped by the "Naga" not by any other type of Naga. Probably like the difference between a Bleached Shell and a Frozen Shell. --Rainith 12:12, 25 March 2006 (CST)

[edit] lvl 2-4 nagas

I was farming naga and mantids for Jade Wind Orbs today, and a lvl 2 naga drop a Monstrous Claw. Just thought I would tell everyone this.... :-) - Blackened By Light 9:16, 01 July 2006

[edit] nagasaki

Also, the Japanese town of Nagasaki has Naga in it, and Factions is clearly Asian based. ???

...Just going to say, a Naga is a legendary half-serpent, half-human creature...not part of "Nagasaki"... Skax459 19:23, 10 April 2007 (CDT)

Edit: According to THIS article: "Nagas are [members] of a race of semi-divine creatures, often part-snake, associated with rivers, rain, etc", see above comment. Skax459 19:23, 10 April 2007 (CDT)

[edit] Summon Naga Shaman

There is no monster "Naga Shaman", correct? Actually there is no max-level Naga Elementalist...and none use Earth Magic anyways. I just find this a bit strange since the other summons have skills they could realistically use and can actually be found in-game. Image:Entropy Sig.jpg (T/C) 00:39, 22 September 2007 (CDT)

None of the summons (except Mursaat) reflect the original creature in terms of skillsets... which means a Naga having Stoning is really no stranger than an Ice Imp with Ice Spikes or a Djinn with Immolate. Besides, the first mention of a Naga Shaman was the minipet (or was that Raincaller?). --Kale Ironfist 01:15, 22 September 2007 (CDT)
But at least those other "summon monsters" are actually real monsters that can be found as foes in-game.--Image:Marcopolo47 signature new.jpg (Talk) (Contr.) 05:34, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
