I removed note about getting the reward for Scout the Coast for just clearing the location. Now, after an update some time ago, you have to go to the various places marked on your U-map and defeat the Kurzicks there. In some cases, the Kurzicks are milling about, but more often they pop up when you reach the target star on the map. After defeating the Kurzicks, a second group pops up to be defeated. The Kurzicks often have an Elementalist with Unsteady Ground, which is nasty in Hard Mode (Pain Inverter works wonders if applied just before the Ele casts Unsteady Ground!) in addition to Sliver Armor.
