I believe that the chance of getting silk when salvaging webs is much higher than the usual chance of getting a rare salvage material when salvaging other things.
- Yes, these seem to have nearly a 100% chance of Silk. I don't think I've ever expert salvaged one of these and gotten dust instead. Same for Spider Web. Entropy 19:12, 3 February 2007 (CST)
- well, since I'm doing the HM missions in the area (Maguuma Jungle), all the Maguuma Spider Webs I got? they salvaged to silk... save one, just a few minutes ago, that salvaged into a pile of dust. weird. --MIB4u 21:54, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
