Not really, at least not in PvE - Maguuma Jungle, you want all the fire damage you can get. Same for Hell's Precipice, this prep is a key skill there (at least in my build), convert it to cold damage with Winter and it's great. Read the Wind is nice because it's armor-ignoring, however, versus lower AL targets Kindle Arrows will end up dealing more. So in earlier PvE it's better. Entropy 21:15, 4 February 2007 (CST)

i use kindle arrows + poison/burning arrow depending on where i am and i gotta say kindle arrows owns so what if its not armor ignoreing even on high armor targets such as warriors it still gives +13-17 depending on how high you have your wilderness survival. you can also combine arcing shot,arrow attack of your choice,savage shot they should all hit approx the same time(arcing shot may hit a little early) and deal a good 200+ damage to a monk.--Gene195 19:12, 4 May 2007 (CDT)

Kindle arrows + winter = just fire damage. Just tested it out with conjure flame and conjure ice. conjure flame adds the damage , conjure ice doesn't add some damage . Did it with needling shot btw. --77.160.14.220 10:49, 21 October 2008 (UTC) Toilet ~

How does this skill react with vampiric strings? I don't see any reason that it would cancel it out, but I haven't seen that anyone has thought of Conjure Flame+This+Vamp weapon either... — Powersurge360 02:39, 19 August 2008 (UTC)

Meh, I'm not familiar with the spreads of PvE rangers, but if you were to combine it with multishot skills like incendiary arrows and dual shot you could deal some pretty sexy damage. But again, I'm a PvE ranger noob, and as such there's probably better ways to deal damage. — Powersurge360 03:03, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
