• No you don't. You can, however, switch anytime between your hero's normal and upgraded armor for any hero that has been upgraded.

What about if you add runes and insignias to a piece of armor, then upgrade it to a new look. Will those runes and insignias be removed or will they stay? --Schmerdro

No. All the armor crafter does is change the look, not the add-ons, so think of it as one set of armor that changes looks.. Yamagawa 18:42, 10 March 2007 (CST)
