One Flask of Firewater seems to give you exactly one minute of drunkenness starting from the sober state, though there seems to be well-nigh no visual effect after drinking simply one. Judging from the levels of drunkenness discussion, this would suggest that one flask automatically elevates you to level 3 in terms of drunkenness.

flask of firewater DOES infact give THREE levels of drunkeness. Referr to the article on drunkeness. There are 5 levels of drunken-ness. You only get minutes towards the title when you drop from level 5 to 4, or 4 to three three to two. theres why if you drink ONE firewater you will only achieve level 3 drunken-ness. YOu will only receive one point in dropping from level 3 to level 2. If you are going for the drunkard title what you should instead to is drink a flask, and let one minute wear off, you will be at drunkard level 2. Now drink one more. You'll be at drunkard level 5, and now will infact get three minutes for each firewater flask. You should let three minutes wear off, and continue to drink another flask, to keep receiveing three minutes from each firewater. 68.54.145.120 06:58, 5 September 2007 (CDT)
Thanks to the December 6, 2007 update, Firewater now lasts for 5 minutes, so a single consumption will yield 3 minutes just as spiked eggnog or aged dwarven ale does. Hooray!

Do the flasks still give 3mins to the title if they have been recieved BEFORE the update?I got like 100 of firewater flasks which I got during the Tengu Festival a while ago and it would be a shame if they only gave 1min to my title.
