Ebon is the most popular in GvG, although the reason is largely that rangers have no +vs. earth armor and elementalists are unlikely to bring +vs earth armor. In both cases you would likely just use a vampiric weapon instead of an elemental weapon, but that doesn't change the higher prevalence of Ebon in GvG. With advent of The Ice Breaker, most hammer warriors in GvG now use that as their elemental weapon of choice, but axes are swords still tend towards Ebon as the preferential mod. --Kryshnysh 10:23, 7 September 2006 (CDT)
