[edit] Drop Rates in Pre-Searing....
Has anyone noticed that the drop rates in Pre have diminished significantly since the tripple dye drop weekend? I used to get 2-4 dye every run in the Green Hills Country, but now I only get one every other run or so. -Lefick Depr 12, 2007
- Are the Dye drop rates higher in the other 'newb areas' as well? (Istan and Shing Jea) I ask this because my new elementalist has had some crazy dye drops. Two or three per explorable in Istan. Lazarus 20:17, 24 February 2008 (UTC)

On there you put all the statistics and stuff and added them all up to 100%. So, you're saying that a dye drops 100% of the time. WOOT! I'mm gonna go farm Melandru's Stalkers!--

- Feeling a little noobish, Spam King? Those values say that when a dye drops it has that percent chance to be that color, not how often those particular dyes drop.
how often does dye drop wat is the chance of getting it from a foe..not caring about colour.

I was just clicking around the site and came across the dye page. i read stuff fon this site all the time but have never done anything to contribute so hopefully this is useful!
I collected these dyes ever since I started playing, which was when Nightfall came out. Since I have never sold or used any of them, and just stacked them in storage, I imagine that its ok to use as Drop Rate (although I can recall occasions where I accidently sold a dye to the merchant it couldn't have been very many times)
Black - 13 White - 21 Blue - 51 Brown - 72 Green - 67 Silver - 57 Yellow - 79 Purple - 83 Red - 50 Orange - 82
