Talk:Dragon Moss
From GuildWiki
Tested them with a dragonslaying sword: they're not dragons (max dmg. sword with no modifier, Wild Blow: 34 dmg.; max dmg. sword +20% vs. dragons, Wild Blow: 34 dmg.) Now I need a weapon of pruning... :) --84-175 (talk) 13:41, 7 August 2006 (CDT)
- I'm pretty sure it has already been verified that Dragon Mosses are plants. See for example Talk:Dragon Lilly.
- On a side note, can you please use your dragonslaying sword on a Bonesnap Turtle to check whether that's a turtle or a dragon?! Thanks! And please, can you also check it on any Drake (Species), and on Glint?! That would help a lot in various species discussions. --

[edit] Farming these creatures
I read a few builds that are capable of farming Dragon Moss (especially directly outside Saint Anjeka's Shrine during A New Escort quest) with an elementalist. I was actually thinking of using Obsidian Flesh (can't use Stoneflesh Aura, don't have Nightfall). That way, I would have all their spells fail while thinking of spamming Frozen Burst on them (if some elemental resistance, then Flame Burst). So with Armor of Earth, Arcane Echo for Obsidian Flesh, Obsidian Flesh, a few energy and health management skills, Teinai's Crystals and Flame/Frozen Burst, I think it would effective. Besides which 60+10 (tempest armor)+20+62 would somewhat deal about 1-4 damage from projectiles. Tell me what you think. --Dark Paladin X 08:10, 24 March 2007 (CDT)

[edit] Note
The note is wrong. It isn't peculiar. Ice Imps, siege ice golems, Salstpray dragons, Krakens, and probably quite a bit more do the same thing. Ill leave it there, but I'm removing the farming part. PvX is for farming builds.Gorbachev116 02:43, 3 July 2008 (UTC)
