- Try sic-ing an interrupt/degen Gwen on them. I bonded her and sent her in alone (it also worked as a team, on the other side - much faster, too). My solution to most foes like this was Gwen. --146.122.71.136 20:34, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
- The Charr allies you free along the way in the temple/dungeon primary quest, they alone can kill one with only a little help. Just flag your party out of reach and bring them to one of the charr effigy. When both come then they can't do it alone. --Birchwooda Treehug 16:46, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
- Pain inverter is great against these guys. Merick 00:46, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
- Just a dom mesmer with interrupts wtfpwns these guys =/ --Shadowcrest 00:52, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
- Is it just me or does the damage "Bounce" back in forth if you use pain inverter when it has Sheild of Fire on? it seems to be instapop :P Black Eagle 08:59, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
- Probably keeps track--Relyk 02:03, 22 July 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Avoidance during Warband
O Rly!
They spawn too close together that you cannot just walk past them to reach the Hierophant.
If you go entirely around and attack the Hierophant from the side, you are very close to their aggro range still, and most times you will aggro them anyway.
Only meaningful way to "easily" avoid them is 1) take no melee whatsoever, or 2) mad rush before they spawn.
