- You can for real though. Mid-attack skill, you double-click a different weapon in your inventory to equip it. That's a "hard cancel," and it stops any action.

- Attack skills with ctivation timers can be cancelled by bashing Esc twice.
- Also, not even a note on the BB sins? BB Sins use cancelling to weapon swap much faster. Click BB, mid-swing press esc once, swap to daggers. This allows a massacre attack chain to be completed without giving the target any chance to flee. ---
