Armour List[]

Is it needed to list all armor that require cloth to craft? Wouldn't it be better to create a category, if that information really is needed? There are so many armors now. That list is already very long. — Stylva (talk)(contribs) 10:27, 5 January 2007 (CST)

If you added a category to every set of armour for each crafting material they require you'd end up with some very unwieldy armour page though. I wonder if we really need to list on common material pages what armour they're useful for - it's not like common materials are hard to get hold of. --NieA7 10:46, 5 January 2007 (CST)
That's my point. The list here is no where close to updated, no Factions armors are included and no Nightfall armors. If we should list them in some way, my suggestion is through categories. But for common materials, I agree, it might not be really necessary. — Stylva (talk)(contribs) 11:59, 5 January 2007 (CST)
Well I think we should get shot of them but this is probably a rather obscure place to be discussing it. I'm not sure what page it should come under, why don't you have a browse through some of the Guild Wiki formatting articles and bring it up there? Project:Style and formatting/Materials might be a good place to start :) --NieA7 13:20, 5 January 2007 (CST)

Farming[]

Anyone have any ideas about farming these? I'm getting Monk Elite Woven armor for my monk and i don't want to buy 400 of them... --A Lew 17:26, January 26, 2010 (UTC)

The best way to farm it, or any material for the matter, is to salvage Salvage Items. Sure, some mobs drop it directly, but usually only 2-4 at a time. As you can see on the page, there's tons of things that salvage into cloth. Honestly, I just always salvage them, so I always have more materials than I know what to do with. --Macros 18:14, January 26, 2010 (UTC)
I disagree, I think the best way to farm them if you have NightFall is go to the Kournan areas and kill the Kourna (Jahai Bluffs come to mind). sometimes the "elites" drop 13-14 at a time. no salvaging required --Ralisti Ncro 18:31, January 26, 2010 (UTC)
Well, they might also drop Kournan Tunics, so I guess that's a good place to try. --Macros 18:35, January 26, 2010 (UTC)
Oh, don't forget, if you salvage something and get silk, you can salvage the silk into cloth. --Macros 21:51, January 26, 2010 (UTC)
Or, if silk costs a fortune (which I doubt) then you might be able to sell it high enough to buy more cloth with the money instead --Gimmethegepgun 00:37, January 27, 2010 (UTC)
