I know that as a noob sword warrior I had a lot of trouble with bleeding and fleshless foes, but I've never encountered a foe who was immune to Deep Wounds. Surely this is an error. --Qian Khan 09:31, 25 February 2006 (CST)

As a sword warrior you would have to bleed somebody first to cause a deep wound. Surely if the foe is immune to deep wound then it would be immune to bleeding, so you wouldn't notice it? -PanSola 03:58, 26 February 2006 (CST)
I have played as an axe warrior since then :) I'm talking specifically about Dismember (a skill which has never been resisted by foes in my recollection) but I can imagine it possible that if Deep Wounds are only intended to affect fleshy foes there still might be flaws in the game that allow certain skills to inflict them on everyone.

Nonetheless, I'm pretty sure that bleeding, poison and disease are the only three conditions that affect fleshy foes, and that Deep Wounds affect (and are meant to affect) all foes. --Qian Khan 11:14, 26 February 2006 (CST)

I second the deep wound on all foes comment. Particularly now with Assassins, using Twisting Fangs after Falling Spider, I get messages that say, 'Target foe is immune to Poison (Has no flesh)', and likewise for bleeding. However, the arrow for a condition still appears, and there's no message for 'Deep Wound'.

I'm fairly sure that Deep Wound is a condition that effects most, if not all, enemies universally. The only exception I'm unsure of is Spirits.

I tested Dismember on azure shadows north of camp rankor, and the deep wound works perfectly fine. I'm removing the last paragraph in article. -- Ledrug 17:22, 29 June 2006 (CDT)

Average damage. Edit

Can someone calculate at what level of Weapons Mastery does Axe damage become superior to that of Sword please? An additional list with Critical Strike or other critical hit altering skills would be even better, but I guess that may be too much. Silk Weaker 09:33, 17 August 2006 (CDT)

it's 11, assuming all other variables (armor, penetration) are constant and no skills are used. --Honorable Sarah Honorable Icon.gif 11:09, 17 August 2006 (CDT)
