Anyone know anything about these creatures? I don't remember seeing them anywhere, but I might have missed them. There was nothing here but an old beast box, I added the headings when I changed the box. --Rainith 04:54, 4 Oct 2005 (EST)

I have noticed after the Sept. 20th update that they now use called shot, before it they never did. Certainly makes splitting a group of two or more in the forest more difficult as a solo ranger, as now you can't dodge the shots and avoid the other spider's poison. --Oxuultae 17:03, 21 September 2006 (CDT)

They have always used called shot. — Skuld 17:13, 21 September 2006 (CDT)

Funny. come to think of it, I got many gems from the driftwood, but never from the spiders. a guildie got one from a cracked mesa yesterday. Foo 03:54, 26 February 2007 (CST)
Well I was in a team with the SMS guild, not soloing, if that makes a difference — Skuld 07:46, 26 February 2007 (CST)

Savage Shot[]

Ok, that note at the bottom confuses me, do they only use Savage Shot and no other skills when their target is below 50%, or do they just not use Savage above 50%? Marin Bloodbane (Talk) 12:50, 6 May 2007 (CDT)

When your health is less then 25%, they will be able to use savage shot on you. -- Xeon 12:56, 6 May 2007 (CDT)

Question[]

How many of these spawn? Ron Ng 10:48, 20 May 2007 (CDT)

I think 6 groups of 3 at the front of the cave and another 6 for each dryder inside the cave (which is 6) so that's 18 + 36 = 54. That's not including the ones inside the forest of the wailing lord though, I think there's only a few there --Blue.rellik 00:54, 29 May 2007 (CDT)
