The correct name is, "To the Limit!". Apparently Guild Wars has no standard capitalization for these "Something yelled!" skills. The four I have are:

  • "For great justice!"
  • "I Will Survive!"
  • "To the Limit!"
  • "Watch yourself!"

I'm not going to correct these in the hopes that Guild Wars will fix the skill names in a future patch. -- 64.170.114.119 00:38, 23 Jun 2005

Actually, According to my copy of "Strong Bad Sings", it's "Everybody to the Limit!". The proper spelling, therefore, of the reference is "To the Limit!". This is one of a few Homestar Runner references in the game (See Rodgort). --Kathryn Maulhammer 16:19, 23 Jun 2005 (EST)

Also, perhaps instead of mentioning the references here, there should be a page listing pop culture ref's? It'd be a better container for things like Rodgort, Elaine Rigby (Ah, look at all the lonely people), and a few others that have been noticed. --Kathryn Maulhammer 17:27, 23 Jun 2005 (EST)

I think as long as we stick with what the game uses that will be fine for the spelling. If they change the spelling in-game then we can change the wiki to match easily enough. As for pop-culture reference such as H*R, I don't think there are enough references (or known references) yet to constitute a seperate area or page, but I'm not certain. Perhaps we could start a page like this and see how it goes? <LordBiro>/<Talk> 20:36, 23 Jun 2005 (EST)

One of the updates last weekend removed this skill's ability to maintain adrenaline levels outside of battle. I figured I'd just put a note here because I don't know which update it was or if it was intentional. --Wil 17:36, 31 July 2006 (CDT)

How about putting "Make Your Time!" as a related skill? Seb2net 04:17, 19 February 2007 (CST)

Actually, According to my copy of "Strong Bad Sings"... Well that's great and all, but i think this skill is more likely a reference to "Push it to the limit". A song performed by Paul Engemann for the movie Scarface. I'm pretty sure both Scarface and that song are more famous than Homestar Runner.--Darksyde Never Again 16:43, 21 October 2007 (UTC)

You have a point. However, with ANet's love of pop culture references, that trivia needs more of a neutral point of view, so I'm changing it --Gimmethegepgun 21:16, 3 December 2007 (UTC)

Range Edit

It's definitely earshot. I went to the isle of the nameless with this and a low adrenal cost skill. I moved so just one dummy was barely within my aggro bubble and use TtL and gained adrenaline. The dummy was definitely further than in the area. --Fyren 16:55, 2 March 2007 (CST)

Dakk doesn't have this skill Edit

Unless you unlocked it, that is. Image is gone. RHSig.jpg talk 17:24, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

Actually, your screenshot proves he does. Look at the top, it's in quotes. Overlord Stan 18:20, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
XD I expected it to be in the "T" section, I forgot that normal sorting algorithms are based off of the first character, not the first letter. RHSig.jpg talk 18:23, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
Ah, so that's where you went wrong :) --- Ohaider!-- (s)talkpage 18:29, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

Trivia question answered! Edit

A few days ago, my friend noticed something weird on his warrior. When he used the skill To The Limit, his character shouted "Everybody to the limit!", as seen in the picture. He tried again for several hours to see if it would happen again, but it didn't. Finally, today, the anomaly (if it is that), happened again, and he got a screenshot ([1]). First of all, I think that this makes it very clear that the shout is a reference to the Homestar Runner clip. Has anyone else ever seen this? All I know is that it seems to happen extremely rarely. Honestly I don't care if you think it's a "hoax", just wanted to see if anyone else had noticed this little Easter Egg. Thanks! <3 Ailina 20:08, March 2, 2010 (UTC)

Well, after all that, just noticed it was already mentioned on the official wiki, but not here. Oh well. At least it's documented now.  :) Ailina 20:15, March 2, 2010 (UTC)
I saw that text string (Everybody, to the limit!) appear in Gw.dat after the big update, but it was added to the end of the text files, so it wasn't obviously tied to any skill. I did try using this skill in-game to see if the shouted text had changed, but still got the normal "To the limit!" so I figured it was just a development artifact (there are TONS of those in Gw.dat, so it didn't surprise me). Apparently it is actually tied to this skill, but has a relatively low chance of occurrence, maybe 1 in 10 or something. —Dr Ishmael Diablo the chicken.gif 20:32, March 2, 2010 (UTC)
I had it haha. My Goren, at the Arid Sea's statue, said; 'Everybody To The Limit!' :D 77.164.17.245 17:40, March 15, 2010 (UTC)

New trivia Edit

[2]. I don't see a mask in the first place.... --- VipermagiSig.JPG -- (contribs) (talk) 12:22, July 12, 2010 (UTC)

There's a very faint outline of one, it's slightly easier to see on the hi-res version. Once I saw that, I looked at his clothing, and he actually looks like a mesmer. While that isn't entirely unprecedented (plenty of paragon skills have necromancers on them), it is pretty unusual for Prophecies skills. In any case, I doubt it's a "wrestler" reference. —Dr Ishmael Diablo the chicken.gif 12:42, July 12, 2010 (UTC)
I honestly still don't see it. The outlines seem to be shading to me. Oh well. --- VipermagiSig.JPG -- (contribs) (talk) 12:48, July 12, 2010 (UTC)
