A Superior Salvage Kit is a set of tools used to salvage useful supplies from the junk dropped by your defeated enemies.

Description

Double-click to salvage upgrade components and crafting materials (rare or common) from an item.

Spending reward trophies on Superior Identification Kits is a better deal than spending them on standard Identification Kits.
- Trading 3 trophies for an Expert kit (25 uses) gives a value of 25/3 = 8.3 uses/trophy.
- Trading 5 trophies for a Superior kit (100 uses) gives a value of 100/5 = 20 uses/trophy.
Buying one with gold, however, is a waste of money.
- Buying an Expert kit for 400 gives a value of 400/25 = 16 /use.
- Buying a Superior kit for 2 gives a value of 2000/100 = 20 /use.

-Double-click the Superior Salvage Kit icon, then click the item you wish to salvage. If the item is ranked above white in [[item rarity|rarity]] (except greens), a menu will appear with any salvageable items avaliable from the item being salvaged, as well as an option for crafting materials. [[Salvage]]d [[weapon upgrades]] or [[runes]] will then appear in the first open slot in your inventory. [[common crafting material|Common]] or [[rare crafting material|rare]] crafting materials will be stacked with like crafting materials (if you already have them in your inventory), up to 250 units at which time a new stack is created in the first open [[inventory|inventory slot]]. If no free slot is available, the item will not be [[salvage]]d and you will see a notification message. Also, there is a chance that the item being salvaged will survive the action, allowing you to salvage additional items from it. The chance is based on your ranks in the titles [[Treasure Hunter]] and [[Wisdom]].
