[edit] Skill Hunter title tracks

Each Continent's respective title includes the core elite skills and all elite skills from that continent.

Title1 Campaign Elite Skills Captured2
Tyrian Elite Skill Hunter Prophecies 90
Canthan Elite Skill Hunter Factions 120
Elonian Elite Skill Hunter Nightfall 1403
Legendary Skill Hunter
(Max Level)
All Three 2904
1 The titles listed above are all individual and independent title tracks, with only one level each. Each of them currently counts towards the "Kind Of A Big Deal" title track.
2 Core Elite Skills captured in one campaign also count as one in the other chapters.
3 Junundu Siege does not count towards the title-track.
4 The core elites are common to all three title tracks making the total number of skills 290, not 350.

It is awarded per character.

[edit] Notes

  • There are four Elite Skills that cannot be used in PvP. These are Junundu Siege, Raven Blessing, Ursan Blessing and Volfen Blessing.
  • Taking into account the experience you get from capturing an elite skill, you will need 194 skill points in the beginning to capture all 290 elites. To gain these skill points you need to complete all missions in all three campaigns on the maximum level, reach level 20 and gain a total of 1,099,200 experience points. This calculation ignores any skill points received from quests and assumes that the character is Elonian to receive maximum skill points from missions.
  • These titles are often achieved by those who are going for the Legendary Survivor title, as capturing an elite skill at level 20 gives 5000 exp.
  • While the first few skills one can buy from skill trainers cost less than 1 platinum, most characters will not be buying signet of captures as their first few skills. Realistically, therefore, capturing all 290 elites will cost about 290 platinum or 288 if the character has done the signet of capture quests exclusively in his/her native continent.
  • The amount of time associated with getting these titles can be alleviated by using Elite Tomes, as long as you have already unlocked the skills on your account. It should be noted however that using Elite Tomes you don't find on your own would be much more expensive; especially since the price of such a tome is equivalent to multiple Signets of Capture.
  • The Elonian title is not attainable without Factions, as you are unable to capture the Ritualist and Assassin skills.

[edit] Old Skill Hunter title track

Historical note Before the title was split by campaign, the progression ran like this:
Rank Title Elite skills captured:
1 Skill Hunter 90
2 Adept Skill Hunter 135
3 Advanced Skill Hunter 180
4 Expert Skill Hunter 235
5 Elite Skill Hunter 290
6 Master Skill Hunter 380 (was never attainable)
Historical note Prior to the Aug. 07th, 2008, game update, Lightbringer Signet was an elite skill and counted toward the Elonian Skill Hunter track, for a total of 141 elite skills. Any character that earned the title before this update will show "141/140 elite skills" for this title.
