[edit] Acquisition
Signet of Capture:
- This is one of the few skills that can remove enchantments that prevent spell targeting, for example, Spell Breaker and Obsidian Flesh. Note that it cannot go through Shadow Form, as Shadow Form causes attacks to miss.
- This skill's enchantment loss aspect makes it much more difficult to defend against, and as a Dual Attack, the target is much more likely to have been enchanted after taking the initial damage from prior attacks.
- As a Dual Attack, Shattering Assault will remove two enchantments from your foe, one for each attack that hits.
- The damage dealt by this skill is not in addition to the standard dagger damage, it replaces the weapon damage (see skill description: no plus sign '+' in front of the number), thus the damage from this skill is not affected by things such as weapon customization, though is affected by armor.
- This is the only elite Dual Attack in the game.
- Shattering Assault removes enchantments before it does damage, so enchantments like Protective Spirit, Spirit Bond, and Reversal of Fortune will be removed before their effects trigger.
