The Scarecrow Mask is a special event headpiece that was distributed on the final day of the Halloween 2007 event at the end of visits by the Mad King Thorn, who appeared every 3 hours in Lion's Arch. It would appear in the inventory of players at the end of Mad King Says.
The Scarecrow Mask's counterpart from Kamadan is the Mummy Mask.

- Item can be infused.
- Item can be upgraded with runes.
- Item cannot be dyed.
- Item cannot be upgraded with armor insignias.
- Item cannot be salvaged.
Like all armor, this item is customized, and while it may be traded, it can only be worn by the character that originally received it. However, this hat may be copied for any PvE character on a given account using the Festival hat maker.
