[edit] Description

[edit] Notes

  • It is the only explorable area in Eye of the North that cannot directly be entered from a town or outpost.
  • Has approx. 370-450 enemies to defeat (incl. the Charr temple), depending on active quests, and 4000 to over 5000 Vanguard points can be gained in 50-80 minutes.
  • The most difficult foe in this zone is Borrguus Blisterbark, who travels quickly with his group of Burning Spirits and often closes on a party while it is engaged with other Burning Spirits or Flowstone Elementals. Bringing some form of caster shutdown is recommended.
  • Worms do count as Vanquisher foes, and you cannot complete a vanquish until you have killed every last one.
  • The Charr temple under certain circumstances will be blocked off on all sides, this is if a member of the party has not completed Assault on the Stronghold.
  • The massive Forest Fire in the Southeast is due to the titan Ignus the Eternal, though it persists after completing The Smell of Titan in the Morning. Standing near certain burning trees will cause Burning.
  • The Siege Devourer from Dalada Uplands or Grothmar Wardowns can be ridden into this zone, making it possible to have up to three people using Siege Devourers.
  • There is also a Siege Devourer near the worms and grawl area.
  • One of the easternmost parts of Tyria lies within this explorable area (the other is in Dalada Uplands).
