The Ring of Fire Islands is a collection of actively volcanic islands in the south western corner of the Tyrian Continent. The islands are charred and barren and show no sign of human inhabitance outside of the Ember Light Camp. However, the islands home at least one Mursaat Fortress. These islands are the staging area for final the missions that form the story of the Prophecies campaign.

The gods tossed the sealed Bloodstones into the largest Volcano in the center of the Ring of Fire, Abaddon's Mouth, before their exodus. 100 years later, the volcano exploded, spewing forth the Bloodstones and scattering them across Tyria.

There are many rock formations found here in the form of demonic faces. A few similiar formations can also be found in Pre-Searing Ascalon in the Catacombs. In addition, the terrain and the sculpture are very similar to those of the Fissure of Woe.

The islands have some treacherous areas where players would have to cross streams of lava which cause a burning and crippling effect.

The Ring of Fire Islands are home to some very dangerous monsters including: Mursaat Towers, Dark Flame Dryders, Breeze Keepers, Mahgo Hydra, Flesh Golem, and Lava Imps. While this region offers generally the toughest monsters for farming in Tyria, it does not offer many open exploration areas. Outside of Ember Light Camp there is the sole exploration area of this region, which is called Perdition Rock.

Note: The Ring of Fire Islands used to be called Komalie's Rest.
