Ravagers are the dark spirits of the Maguuma Jungle. They are Nightmares that appear only as part of the bonus of the Bloodstone Fen mission. They appear if players kill any of the hostile Jungle Guardians guarding the shrines of the druids against the explicit instructions of the Druid that gives the bonus.

Their appearance signals the failure of the Bonus objective (unless of course the bonus has been completed already). Upon killing any of the guardians for the first time, five Ravagers will appear, and thereafter upon attempting to awaken any druid, two Ravagers will appear instead of the druid.

• These are the only creatures that drop Globs of Ectoplasm outside of areas only available to ascended characters. However, due to the rarity and low numbers of them, killing them specifically for Ecto is generally a waste of time.
